Mongolia Autumn tour started
Right on time for our tour start, a cold weather system reached Mongolia and brought the first snow of the year with it. Is it a winter tour now?
Not really, because the weather shall improve soon and revert to the Golden Summer scenes the Mongolian mountains are famous for.
This tour will be repeated in summer 2019 again, the itinerary is already online and can be discovered here.
It will be the last tour we will run to the "classic" spots like Khonnkoor Loop or Emeelt summit for quite a while. For 2020 we will return to the main line but focus on complete new spots!
In the meantime, we are preparing another autumn trip for September 2019, featuring the branch lines to Sharin Gol and Erdenet, as well as the spectacular Gobi desert section of the Transmongolian Railways.
A very special add-on will cover the isolated branch line at Choibalsan - we will even run chartered photo freights here!
