Selfkantbahn: Many reasons to come back again

On 21. September we visited the Selfkantbahn - for the first time we could run Tanago charter trains there. It was, in a nutshell, a great event:
perfect weather, excellent train sets, extremely motivated staff of the Selfkantbahn, and equally committed participants!

We had 3 trains in total: 2 mixed trains were pulled by the currently only operational steam locomotive, the 0-4-0 tender locomotive #101, another mixed train with the recently rehabilitated GKB diesel locomotive V11.
The V11 in particular has become a jewel - a prime example of first-class refurbishing.
In addition, a train dedicated to potential donors ran with the V11, and a privately rented birthday train with the 101.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants and club members who were on their feet from 5 in the morning until 10 at night.
We are looking forward to come back next year!
