Great Britan: update on our March tour
We have already mentioned it here several times: planning a trip with UK preserved railways is sometimes a bit challenging, mainly due to the fact that only a few preserved railways foresee their activities for more than 3 months to come.
Because we had to clarify some basic issues with our friends at the various railways, and many agreements have become obsolete suddenly, our program was offline last week.
At the same time, we did not want to come up with a completely new program, because we are still convinced of our original concept. We have therefore paid particular attention to ensuring that those railways that are very happy to welcome us also have a prominent place in our itinerary.
Long story short: the date remains the same (7-14 March 2020), we will now be visiting the P&DSR, the Midhants, and the Kent&East Sussex Railways, plus repeat our photo day at the Didcot museum – here we hope for two active steam locomotives during our visit.
