Good news from Pakistan!
Although the Western media is currently talking only about "war" between Pakistan and India, the local world looks quite different again:
Both countries have agreed to reopen the border crossing (also by train) in Wagah!
Our two HGS are also busy doing a lot of testing: the HGS 2303 runs between Rawalpindi and Golra Sharif, the HGS 2277 is travelling north of Nowshera.
Overall, the two locomotives are to haul 7 photo charter trains during our tour!
The touristic visit itinerary has also been confirmed and can be booked separately on our website: as soon as at least 2 people find themselves at any start date, the program starts!
The booking situation looks good, we expect to be able to confirm the tour in mid-March. We know that some potential participants still need to work on family and employers and therefore we offer all interested parties a one-time extension of our early bird discount until March 15, 2019!
