China´s last QJ are gone
Finally it happened: the boiler tickets for JiTong´s last operationmal QJs 7038 and 7119 are expired and as expected no new overhaul will be done.
JiTong used their QJ only the annual steam-festival end of December, on 25. December 2014 we could spot these two locomotives at the Shgandian tunnel:
