Bosnia: Late autumn of steam locomotives
Still they run, the ex 52s, now class 33, all built between 1943 and 1944 ex DR 52 at the Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfactory. But for how long ? Because they actually just stand around in the mines. The "Kennedy" diesel locomotives of the state railway can also do the shunting work there. Therefore it is probably only a question of time.... We use the possibly last chance to run one of our successful tours to Bosnia again in October 2019! Since we are tour operators, we were able to book a cheap flight package for all participants between Berlin Schönefeld and Tuzla, avoiding the time consuming transfers from Belgrade.
