Bosnia: Late autumn of steam locomotives - 29 October - 2 November 2019
From 29 October to 2 November 2019 we will drive back to Bosnia - for the late autumn of the steam locomotives. In the last 3 years we have been there 5 times and have never been disappointed. Originally built for 5 - 10 years - the series 33 (DR series 52) still steams. All machines were built by DWM in 1943 and 1944 and still show what quality work is. In addition, more steam locomotives in the normal and narrow gauge sector make Bosnia a worthwhile destination for steam locomotive enthusiasts. But the replacement in the form of the Kennedys is already ready or has already taken over a lot of the steam locomotive services. Don't take too much time - the steam era in the Balkans could be over sooner than many think.
