Öchsle steam locomotive Tanago Railfan Tours

Germany:
Winter steam at the Öchsle

Saturday, 17 December 2022

At the end of 2022, the Würthemberg Tssd - 99 633 - has to go in for a general inspection. We take the opportunity and use 99 633 and an authentic photo train of epoch III on the Öchsle. We drive from Warthausen to Ochsenhausen and then let 99 633 with your charter train chimney first depart to the best photo spots in the direction of Warthausen.

Our charter train consits of two passenger coaches, a carboose, a covered and an open goods wagon. Immediately after the end of our photo run, 99 633 goes into main inspection. We hope to see her back in service soon. But who knows for sure ...

Our programme on Saturday, 17 December 2022, starts very early in Warthausen, from where we steam "chimney first" to Ochsenhausen. After removing, we steam chimney first in the direction of Warthausen.  After the lunch break in Ochsenhausen, we tackle the entire route again and end in Warthausen in the evening after the sunset pictures.

Our photo train is made up of: 99 633 + KBi - Stg 0166 (2nd class) + KBi - Stg 0021 (2nd/3rd class) + KPwPosti - Stg 0144 + G Stg 154 + G - Stg 481 (buffer car)

At midday there will be a breather for loco, staff, and photographers/videographers! We will shorten this with a hearty snack and a warm drink at the Fried sausage sales booth in Ochsenhausen.

Per participant, the photo action on the Öchsle costs 320 EUR.

We will provide catering (on a self-pay basis).

Please book in time, we pay attention to photo quality and will only tour with a maximum of 28 participants!

Notes:

We send out the tour programme to participants about 4 weeks before the photo tour. We do not approve of sideline drivers and will decorate our train with high-visibility waistcoats during the transfers. Only through honest payers can the museum railways maintain their vehicles!
