In May 2016 we also visited »CONCH« – a 762mm limestone railway near Nanjing on our »Industrial Railways in China« tour. The diesel locomotives of the JMY380 series served a 13 Km long line. Unfortunately, protests of local residents against the »loud honking« and the advance of modern housing construction led to the discontinuation of the railway in Febraury 2019.
